Above is Boxed Star and below is Honey's Choice #50.

Above is Farmer's Daughter #32 and below is Fruit Basket.

And finally, Star of Hope #88

I haven't been on my blog in a while but as you all probably know, there's a new little man in my life...and I just can't get enough of him. Al and I are also working on our new house...not much to report yet... the hole will be dug this week and then the basement is getting poured a few days later. When we start getting somewhere with it, I'll post pictures.

Meet Harrison...

Meet my new Granddoggie, Harrison.... Harry for short... he's a Cavapoo (part cavalier spaniel and part poodle). Daughter Jenn just picked him up from the breeder today. She had to drive 5 hours to get him. He's home at her house now. Al and I are heading over to visit tomorrow. He needed a quilt, of course. Stitched up a little today with the only doggie fabric I had. Can't wait to hold him.

Here's the update... just got back from our visit with the new pup. Harrison loves his quilt :)

Another project sitting on my design floor is this Mumbo Jumbo. A group of us in town are making these to use up strip scraps that we have been saving. I have my strips stacked in a shoe box... RIGHT UP TO THE TOP :) This is a really EASY, and fun pattern. I plan to donate this one to the hospital through our quild. Hopefully, it will be done quickly... my list of WIPs hasnt gotten any smaller.
Im working on a quilt from one of my books by Jean Wells, Through the Garden Gate. It's a great way to use up scraps/ pieces of purple and green. I made the first 16 blocks that she has in the quilt and decided it needs to be MUCH bigger so I plan to make 64 blocks and then I'll see if that will work. I'll be adding a border on but not the one she has pictured in the book. Im thinking a softer border with appliqued purple flowers and green stems wandering around the edges... but I dont want to get ahead of myself. I have lots of projects out there and need to finish a few others first.

Latest projects

I've been working on 4 quilts lately. This yellow one was completely finished a fews days ago.  This "square in a square " q...
