What a wonderful time I had shopping in Chicago. This is just SOME of the goodies I brought back with me. I got lots of civil war prints and found a great vendor with fabrics from Japan. I watched a demo of how to use felts and also needle punch.. SO.. bought some of that too!

You got some yummy stuff there Deb. That will keep you busy & I know you will make some lovely quilts.
I think that felt would be a great pincushion like you mentioned you had an idea for.
Deb .... ooooooooooooh and ahhhhhhhhhh ... pretties!!!
I recognize one of the 1800's fabrics (the rose with the stylized wheel shaped flowers in the bottom photo near the balls of floss) as from The Merrimack Collection by Judie Rothermel for the New England Quilt Museum ... they sell the entire line in the shop at the museum ... I have some green of this print ... :-)
... enjoying the show vicariously here through your posts ... thanks! ;-) Pat
VERY GOOD, Pat... you on right on! Most of the fabrics I bought were Judie Rothermel... she was there and had a booth. I didn't get a chance to talk with her but some of my roomies did.
Rebecca-The golds and greens are HOPEFULLY going to be for a pineapple pincushion. I haven't found a pattern I like yet but at least I have the wool!
