Today I saw my first coyote... I hear them in Michigan every so often but they never come close to the house. We saw this pair hunting rabbits this morning near the house.
Got a picture of the pair just walking down the street... amazing!

They are kind of pretty in their own way. I don't like seeing them around my house because I worry so much if my kitties are out. Which they are not unless we are home. I have stories I could tell you.
Oh, Rebecca, the kitties would be in TROUBLE with them... they're kind of sneaky, aren't they? We've had some real problems at home in Michigan with them attacking small dogs.
It's kind of a love/hate relationship with them... I think they're beautiful but wouldn't want them hanging around my house :)
